Community Forum - COMPLETED

Categories: Community Forum

The Knox@50 Community Forum was a resounding success with 92 community leaders attending this special one day event. Information gathered is currently being used to help develop a final report for Knox@50. ______________________________________________

Would you like to make a difference in your community?

Like to learn more about the changes around us, and share your ideas for the future?

Knox@50 is a project to engage the community in conversations to discuss shaping the future of Knox. As we are turning 50 in 2013 these conversations will provide valuable information which will help us develop: a new Vision for Council, key Council strategies (in particular, a strategy on Housing), and greater connections between Council and the community.

Knox City Council is calling for community members to help shape the future of our community for generations to come . This is your chance to represent your neighbourhood and interests at a Community Forum to discuss the changes Knox is likely to experience and how, as a community, we might respond to them constructively together.

Please join the Mayor of Knox City Council and Steve Tighe (pictured), one of Australia’s most compelling speakers on future and innovation in a discussion on the future of our community. Let’s plan and shape the future of our community together. Register now as seats are limited!

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
